Water-resistant sandpaper, also known as water sandpaper or water sandpaper, is named because it needs to be immersed in water for polishing and polishing during use. Water resistant sandpaper is a type of abrasive tool made by firmly adhering corundum or silicon carbide abrasives to the substrate using water resistant paper or treated water resistant paper as the substrate, oil or resin as the binder, and its shapes include leaf and roll shapes.
Its characteristics are:
(1) We use a linked production line with high efficiency;
(2) Water-resistant sandpaper uses varnish as the binder and has a long drying time, usually using suspension drying method;
(3) The particle size of water resistant sandpaper is generally fine, while the particle size of water resistant sandpaper starts at p80, and the particle size of fine sandpaper is related to the particle size of metallographic sandpaper.
(4) Water resistant sandpaper is generally polished under water containing conditions, which can reduce dust and provide superior working conditions.
